I got to lead my first quad ride this week, which was rather cool.

It was a short ride a whole 20mins, but still I managed to lose the track and have to make a u-turn on closer inspection of the grass. I know it sounds impossible to get 'lost' on such a short trip, but when the track comes and goes, and you riding throught the bush, it is a little tricky to stay "on track" so to speak. Needless to say you only get lost once and never again, (unless that track disappears)

We did however see most of the animals and almost got to run a blesbuck over, he was so unpeterbed by us, we saw the eland, impala, zebra, blue wildebeest and ostrich, unfortunaltely Abbey the giraffe or his girlfriends did not make an appearance.
