Informatio about you!: A Boutique Backpackers and Self Catering retreat in the Heart of the Tsitsikamma. All our rooms are private and comfortable and we are a peaceful alternative to the sometimes hectic travel trail.

Your stories about Africa and Travel: Been to many places and have decided to settle down and call Storms River
HOME. Danny came from Switzerland as a Backpacker 11 years ago and has been here ever since!!!

A Small and low key self catering and boutique backpackers. All our rooms are private and we don't have dorms - we sleep a maximum of 14 people. Our website gives all our details and you can find us on www.serenityretreat.co.za. We offer our guests a peaceful alternative to the sometimes hectic travel trail - space, safety and privacy. We don't sell alcohol but have no obs if you bring your own!!! Suitable only for the self drive independent traveller. Danny - one of your hosts - speaks Swiss, German and English and is a registered Tour Guide. He does guided walking trails in the forest and is a fountain of knowledge regarding Western Cape and Garden Route. Kitty is Mum to our 2 staffies and looks after base camp and our guests.
